Quiet luxury: how NordicWall transformed a private bedroom retreat

The solution: a custom vertical slat panel in brushed oak veneer with matte black inlay. The tonal contrast adds depth to the wall while remaining warm and understated - perfectly in line with the client’s Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic.

Refined design for everyday life

Installed behind the bed, the wall panels instantly became a focal point without overpowering the room. Their rhythmic verticality enhances the perceived ceiling height, making the space feel more open and structured. To complement the neutral palette, the client selected soft grey textiles, cotton curtains, and ceramic lighting in warm white tones.

Performance behind the beauty

Beyond appearance, the NordicWall system also improved acoustic comfort - an often-overlooked feature in residential settings. The slats are mounted on sound-absorbing felt, which helps reduce ambient noise and improves sleep quality.

Thanks to our modular installation system, the entire project was completed in under one day, with zero dust or construction waste. Panels were pre-cut off-site and mounted directly onto the existing wall using hidden cleats.
